This booklet was designed for a second year design paper at Massey University. The brief was to pick three places in the Wellington region that were united by a theme but had a point of difference. The brochure was to be aimed at both locals and tourists with a prior interest in the activity and to promote Wellington as vibrant, important, and life affirming. Imagery was to indicate both a literal aspect and a more abstract aspect of the location.

During this project, I visited the three locations I had selected (Pauatahanui Estuary, Zealandia, and Kapiti Island) and documented them using photos and sketches. In addition to this, I documented the locations in patterns. I decided that patterns were the best way to illustrate the abstract aspect of the locations which the brief called for.
